Eye of Legend was the final animation created during my graduating year at University. It had a duration of three minutes and forty one seconds. It was completely hand drawn.
The story was based upon a Chinese legend which sees an artist painting dragons on a temple wall. He will not paint their eyes though, as he believes they would come to life and fly away if he does.
Eventually, persuaded by a group of spectators, he reluctantly paints the eyes of two of the dragons. They promptly come to life and wreak much havoc before vanishing mysteriously into the clouds.
